Deadlines

Early submission of your Intent to Return Form and support documents is recommended because you cannot register for courses or access other University services (such as Financial Aid) until your Intent to Return Form is received and processed. Intent to Return Forms are processed as early as 12 months in advance of the term you wish to return.

If you have not attended any other institution since leaving Colorado State and you are returning to complete a degree already in progress:

• You must submit your Intent to Return Form and $50 processing fee (if applicable) no later than the Friday before the start of the term you wish to return.

If you have attended any other institution(s) since your last enrollment at Colorado State:

• You must submit your Intent to Return Form, $50 processing fee, and an official transcript by July 1 for the fall term and December 1 for the spring term. Forms and supporting documents received after the deadline will be processed for the following term.

Notification of Application Status

You will be mailed instructions for checking the status of your application online.

In addition, information about the status of the application is mailed within 4 weeks of receipt of the completed application.

In some cases, additional support information may be requested before a decision is rendered.
